privacy policy

Effective from 16 July 2026.

This policy explains how Daisy Care Solutions, trading as Daisy Homecare (“we”, “us”, “our”), collects, uses and protects personal information — both when you visit this website and when we provide care services. It’s written to reflect the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who We Are

Daisy Care Solutions is registered in England & Wales, company number 14079119, trading as Daisy Homecare. Our registered address is Halpern House, 1-2 Hampshire Terrace, Portsmouth, PO1 2QF. For data protection purposes, we are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us at info@daisycare.co.uk or on 023 9279 8029.

Information We Collect Through This Website

When you use one of our enquiry or job application forms, we collect what you enter — typically your name, email address, phone number, and any message or CV you submit. These forms are hosted by HubSpot, who process this information on our behalf as a data processor. We also use cookies for website analytics and to manage cookie consent itself; see the Cookies section below.

Information We Collect If You Become a Client

If you or a relative become a client, we collect more detailed information as part of arranging and delivering care — including health conditions, medication, mobility and care needs, next of kin, and funding arrangements. This is special category data under UK GDPR. We collect it directly from you, your representative, or (where relevant) health and social care professionals involved in your care, and we handle it under the conditions in UK GDPR Article 9 that apply to the provision of health and social care, alongside our confidentiality obligations as a CQC-regulated care provider.

How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, assess and arrange care, deliver and supervise care safely, meet our legal and regulatory obligations (including to the CQC and local authorities), and, only with your consent, to send you updates. We do not use client care information for marketing purposes.

Our Legal Basis for Using It

For enquiries and general contact, our legal basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to you. For arranging and delivering care, our legal basis is the performance of a contract with you (or your representative), our legal obligations as a regulated care provider, and, for health and care-related information, the Article 9 condition covering health and social care provision. For marketing communications, we rely on your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who We Share Information With

We share information with care staff directly involved in your care, and with HubSpot, our enquiry and customer relationship platform, which processes data on our behalf under its own data processing agreement. Where legally required, we share information with the Care Quality Commission, local authorities, safeguarding authorities, or other regulators. We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties, and we do not share client care information for marketing purposes.

Cookies

We use Cookiebot to manage cookie consent on this website. Cookies fall into categories — necessary, statistics, and marketing — and, other than strictly necessary cookies, none are set until you give consent through the cookie banner. You can review or change your cookie preferences at any time using the cookie settings link in the website footer.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep enquiry information only as long as needed to respond to you, or until you ask us to delete it. Client care records are kept in line with CQC guidance and our regulatory obligations, generally for a number of years after care ends, to meet legal, safeguarding, and audit requirements.

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to have information erased in certain circumstances, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to request that information be provided to you in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@daisycare.co.uk. If you’re not satisfied with how we’ve handled your information, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. We’d recommend checking back periodically if you want to stay up to date.
